Everyday Use

Leather is a living material — it breathes, ages, and develops a rich patina over time. The more you use your Parrish Made piece, the more character it takes on. That’s not wear. That’s a story.

Cleaning

For everyday dirt and dust, wipe your piece down with a soft, dry cloth. For light stains, use a slightly damp cloth and allow it to air dry naturally — away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol-based cleaners, or household sprays, as these can strip the leather’s natural oils and cause cracking over time.

Conditioning

Leather needs moisture to stay supple and strong. We recommend conditioning your piece every 3–6 months with a quality leather conditioner or beeswax-based balm. For pieces you reach for every day — like wallets or key fobs — once a year is plenty. The natural oils from daily handling do a lot of the work for you.

Apply a small amount with a soft cloth, work it in gently, and allow it to absorb fully before use.

Water & Weather

A little rain won’t ruin your piece — leather is tougher than you think. If it gets wet, blot (don’t rub) the excess moisture and allow it to dry slowly at room temperature. Never use a hair dryer or place it near a heat source. Once dry, condition as normal.

Storage

Store your piece in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If storing long-term, stuff bags or wallets lightly with tissue paper to help them hold their shape. Avoid plastic bags — leather needs to breathe.

Patina & Natural Variation

Over time, your leather will darken, soften, and develop a patina unique to you — shaped by your hands, your habits, and your life. This is the beauty of full-grain leather. Embrace it.
